Central Florida Chapter Man & Woman of the Year Campaign
Some people will do anything for fifteen minutes of fame. How about a lifetime of thanks, instead? Every year, men and women vie for the title of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year.
Do you have what it takes to be The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Central Florida Man or Woman of the Year?
Candidates are judged on a philanthropic basis where each dollar raised equals one vote toward the prestigious title of Man & Woman of the Year. Local men and women compete for the title during the ten-week fundraising campaign.
Candidates have their own personal reasons for participating, but the candidates are also running in honor of our Boy and Girl of the Year. The Boy and Girl of the Year are two local children who are blood cancer survivors. Leukemia is the number one child-killing disease in our nation. That is why these this campaign is dedicated to helping children like our Boy & Girl of the Year.

Central Florida Animal Pantry was started by nine year old Zach. After hearing from rescue workers that many pets were being surrendered by their families because they could no longer afford to feed them, he decided that something must be done. Now those families can go to the pantry and receive temporary pet food assistance so they do not lose their loved ones - and YOU can help!! It only takes a minute of your time to relieve anxiety from our furry best friends! Donate Now!

AIDS Walk Orlando 2010 - Join team Gay Days and help raise money for the Hope and Help Centre of Cetral Forida.
AIDS Walk Orlando is the second largest annual fundraiser for the Hope and Help Center of Central Florida, Inc. Hope and Help's mission is to save lives by treating and preventing the spread of HIV/AIDS in Central Florida.
Now in its 15th year, AIDS Walk Orlando continues to raise awareness and funds for the men, women and children infected/affected by HIV/AIDS in the Central Florida Community.
The community’s generous support of last year’s event helped us surpass our goal and we raised $131,561. We want the 2010 walk to be even bigger and better!
This year’s AIDS Walk Orlando will take place on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Lake Eola in Downtown Orlando. Registration and the starting line will be at the Walt Disney World Amphitheatre located on Robinson Street.
Bring your friends, two-legged or four-legged! Yes, your dog can walk and raise money too! Who has Orlando's Top Dog? We have a tiara and trophy for the furry friend who raises the most money!
